At Duni, we're committed to going circular on a large scale by 2030, which is why when we talk about composting, there's no question of mixing tea towels and napkins.
As a partner of Bicycompost, a Bordeaux-based start-up that collects organic waste from catering professionals by bicycle, we are carrying out our mission as a company committed to the environment.
Bicycompost, local composting for a circular economy
Bicycompost doesn't mess around when it comes to protecting the ecosystem and quality of life in Bordeaux. The company aims to divert as much food waste as possible from the bin and transform it into a renewable and exploitable natural resource.
A common goal: to move bio-waste in the right direction
The challenge of ecological transition is a common connection between Bicycompost and Duni France. For example, we have joined forces to test the collection of Bio Dunisoft® napkins with food waste from restaurants in Bordeaux.
For several months now, all biodegradable rubbish, including our napkins, has been collected by Bicycompost bicycle-cargo for transport to the Pena group's composting facility in Saint-Jean-d'Illac.
And we've come full circle!
