Today, Holy Greens uses Duni’s compostable and recyclable bagasse salad bowls – now paired with matching bagasse lids – to create a completely plastic-free, plant-based packaging experience for their guests.
Not only does the new packaging look great and feel natural; it’s also a smart and sustainable choice. Bagasse is a natural by-product of sugarcane, and by switching from plastic to bagasse lids, Holy Greens has achieved a 75% reduction – 65 grams – in CO2e emissions per lid. This was calculated by Duni Group's carbon footprint model, which is certified by the Carbon Trust.
